Hello and welcome to my blog!
Iam an ayurvedic physician practising in YamunaNagar,Haryana. In this blog we will talk about Ayurveda-The Science Of Life!!!
Ayurveda (Sanskrit Āyurveda आयुर्वेद, "life-knowledge") or ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional medicinenative to the Indian subcontinent and a form of alternative medicine. The oldest known ayurvedic texts are the Suśruta Saṃhitā and the Charaka Saṃhitā. These Classical Sanskrit encyclopedias of medicine are among the foundational and formally compiled works of ayurveda.
Ayurveda stresses a balance of three elemental substances (doṣa दोष), analogous to classical humorismVāyu / vāta (air & space – "wind"), pitta (fire & water – "bile") and kapha (water & earth – "phlegm").One ayurvedic theory asserts that each human possesses a unique combination of doṣhas that define that person's temperament and characteristics. Each person has a natural systems state, or natural combination of the three elements, and should seek balance by structuring their behavior or environment to provide more of the element(s) they lack.Another view, also present in the ancient literature, asserts that humoral equality is identical to health, and that persons with preponderances of humours are proportionately unhealthy, and that this is not their natural temperament.
The knowledge of Ayurveda was passed on orally through a lineage of sages in India until it was collated into text more than five thousand years ago. The oldest known texts on Ayurveda are the Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, and the Ashtanga Hrudaya. These texts detail the affect that the five elements found in the cosmic system - earth, water, air, fire, space – have on our individual system, and expound on the importance of keeping these elements balanced for a healthy and happy life.
Ravi Polyclinic was founded with the mission of 'taking Ayurveda to every home'. Our objective of making people happy and healthy through authentic Ayurvedic treatment delivered at their doorstep is a direct response to the ailments and disorders – such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, obesity, hypertension, spondylitis, piles, skin problems, sexual disorders, etc. - affecting the global community today, most of which do not have any impactful or sustainable treatment in modern medicine.
